Valencia close to leaving Hammers
Posted by Sean Whetstone

Enner Valencia’s adventure with West Ham appears to be coming to an end very soon as he prepares for a return to the Mexican Liga MX.

Sources close to Valencia say the Ecuador international could joining Mexican outfit Tigres UANL after agreeing on personal terms with them this weekend but his former club Pachuca are also said keen and are prepared to hijack the deal in the final hours.

West Ham has agreed to cut their losses on Valencia by taking a 50 percent loss on the striker. The Ecuador international cost the Hammers £12 million but with two years left on his deal the board are prepared to let him go if they manage to get for a transfer fee of £5m to get his £40,000 per week wages off the wage bill.

Valencia scored 10 goals in 61 appearances for West Ham after his move from Mexican side Pachuca in the summer of 2014.

He wants to go and doesn't want to play for Bilic so we need to sell however whether I should be happy about it depends on who we sign and if they are any good.
I'd say Valencia is better than the options I saw last season but isn't suited to the way Allardyce and Bilic like to setup which is geared around one striker up front and hoofball. Just not his game.
At least he called out how shit our training is.
